The Education Committee is interested to find out about your views regarding mentoring schemes that pair students with more senior members of the computational biology community.
For now our goal is to establish if there is interest in such an offering among Student Council members and members of our Regional Student Groups. For this purpose the committee has created a very brief survey that we would like you to fill out to let us know about your opinion. Please participate, thank you!
Thanks to an allocation of funds from the ISCB, the Student Council is providing funding support to selected proposals for events or initiatives from our RSGs. Of the 10 proposals that were received, at this time we were able to fully fund proposals from RSG Eastern Africa and RSG India and partially fund a proposal from RSG Brazil. You can find more details here.
