Genome Biology and BioMed Central have announced there will be a cloud computing workshop at their conference "Beyond the Genome: The true gene count, human evolution and disease genomics" which takes place at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA on 11-13 October 2010.

Poster submission deadline for ESCS1 on Aug 16, 2010

The first European Student Council Symposium (ESCS1) will be held on September 26, 2010 in Ghent, Belgium, as a satellite meeting of the European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB).

Art and Science Exhibition

The third edition of this exhibition brings you artistic images and videos that have been generated as part of a research project. This also includes images resulting from creative efforts that involve scientific concepts or employ scientific tools and methods.

The Art & Science Exhibition will be Room 310.

Career Central Seminars

The Student Council has organized this series of seminars targeted at students and post-doctoral scholars attending ISMB 2010. These career development seminars will be conducted in Room 311 on Tuesday, July 13th. Each talk will be approximately 20 minutes.
