The Student Council Symposium 2012 is a forum for students, post docs, and young researchers in the fields of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work to an international audience, build a network within the computational biology community and develop important soft skills in an environment that fosters exchange of ideas and knowledge.

The 7th Annual ISCB Student Council Symposium, held in Vienna Austria on July 15, 2011, was a huge success! More than 80 student delegates from all over the world had an opportunity to listen to 10 excellent oral presentations and review 48 posters on topics ranging from sequence analysis to bioinformatics tools and transcriptomics.

The 7th Annual ISCB Student Council Symposium will be held this Friday, July 15, starting at 8 am in the Austria Center, Vienna, Room J565. It's going to be a fantastic meeting.
