This is an endeavor by the Student Council to address the needs of recruiters and job seekers at ISMB/ECCB 2009. We will provide a forum for interaction and matching up of recruiters and job hunters. Please visit Career Central for latest information about career services Student Council will be offering. We are starting this year with the following services for you
A booth in the exhibit area during ISMB/ECCB 2009 with resume/CV critique sessions by a qualified career counseling professional.
A room for recruiters to present seminars and interact with interested applicants. Schedule will be posted near the conference.
We will also be gathering resumes/CVs online from job seekers for companies looking to hire. See resume/CV submission guidelines below.
A job posting board located near the Career Central booth in the exhibit area during ISMB/ECCB 2009.
Submit your resume/CV
We are launching this new service for all job seekers starting this year. All resumes will be provided to potential academic and industry employers by the Student Council. Please e-mail Career Central for removing your resume/CV from the database. This resume/CV submission is not our CV critique service. The critique service will only be offered at the Career Central booth during ISMB/ECCB 2009 @ Stockholm.
We will have Dr. Mintz at the booth for resume/CV critique sessions. Clifford S. Mintz, Ph.D. has an extensive background in biopharmaceutical drug development, biotechnology training and bioscience career development. Dr. Mintz has held a variety of positions including stints as a medical school professor, professional recruiter management consultant and medical/science writer.
