We are pleased to invite you to the annual ISCB Student Council Open Business meeting at ISMB/ECCB 2009 in Stockholm, Sweden. This meeting is for everyone who wants to learn more about what the ISCB Student Council leadership has been working on during the last year and where we will be heading in the future.

Input and feedback from the community are very important to us and we hope that you will join us for this meeting. If you are interested in getting involved in ISCB Student Council activities this is the best opportunity to contact us in person and discuss the options.

  • 5th ISCB Student Council Awards Ceremony
    Presentation of the winners of the Best Poster and Best Presentation Awards as well as the recipients of the Student Council Travel Fellowships.

  • Report from the ISCB Student Council Leadership
    Overview of recent developments by Abhishek Pratap, ISCB Student Council Chair.

  • Regional Student Groups Presentation
    Presentation of our Regional Student Groups and discussion of the potential of this very successful initiative.

  • Outlook
    Overview of the plans for the coming months and a preview of the 6th ISCB Student Council Symposium.

  • Feedback and Discussion
    An opportunity to voice your opinion about the efforts of the ISCB Student Council and the direction it should be taking. The ISCB Student Council is counting on your input!
