Events Committee The SC Events Representative is responsible for leading and managing a team to organize workshops, social events, and other opportunities which will advance the professional development of junior computational biologists in the ISCB and encourage interactions between young computational biologists and both their peers and senior scientists. This will include solicitation of team members. Anticipated Tasks Career Events: e.g. workshops addressing career planning and counselling, job searching, or alternative careers.Scientific Events: facilitate interaction with senior computational biologists at ISMB and other regional or international conferences. Social Events: Casual networking gatherings at ISMB and other regional or international conference for the purpose of enhancing collaborations, exchanging mutual interests and ideas. Resources
