The mission of the ISCB SC RSG-Poland is to strengthen the community of young bioinformaticians that study and/or work in Poland and make it more involved in the international bioinformatics community. The objective is to provide information about computational biology groups and education, internship and work possibilities in Poland, and on an international level. We would like to provide a scientific environment for discussions, through spreading and networking of people involved in computational biology. We want to encourage young people to get involved in the international community of bioinformaticians through international collaboration with other regional groups, attendance and organization of international scientific meetings, involvement in ISCB Student Council activities. All the correspondence in the RSG-Poland should be kept in English.

Aims of RSG Poland:

1. Get information about needs and expectations of students and young scientists in Poland.
2. Help them in their scientific development.
3. Facilitate realization of their own ideas and their collaboration
   with other scientists.
4. Distribute information about scientific events, job opportunities and scholarships inside the country and all around the world.
