  • First Central African Regional Bioinformatics Workshop

    As part of the activities to develop the regional bioinformatics student community, RSG-Central Africa is organizing a one-day workshop on the 29th of July, 2011 at the University of Buea.

    The major objective of the workshop is to introduce the principles and potentials of bioinformatics to young researchers across Central Africa in which this field is in its initial stages of development. We equally want to seize this opportunity to mobilize the young researchers to get involved in the activities of the regional student group.

    We anticipate 20 post graduate students and young researchers who show special interest and who can apply the knowledge acquired. Participants from other Central African states who show interest and funding support will also be considered.

    The workshop will involve: Lectures, online practical sessions and discussions.
