How can I choose a lab for my PhD? How can I find a postdoc? Should I go to the USA or not? Is it possible to work in the private sector with a training in bioinformatics? Are there available positions in bioinformatics in the academic sector? Starting as a bioinformatician often raises numbers of questions.

The aim of this satellite meeting is to gather all people interested in these questions, to ask or answer them and to discuss together through panel discussions.

JeBiF satellite meeting - Friday June 12th

The RSF-France is currently organizing a one day workshop right after the main French conference Jobim in June in Nantes. Jobim is a yearly scientific event of the French-speaking bioinformatics community. Our aims are to communicate about the project and lead a session on opportunities in bioinformatics in France. You can find more information on our website. This one day workshop will be attended by 46 people. We look forward to meeting people and getting feedbacks on our project.
