The mission of the RSG-France is to strengthen the French community of young bioinformaticians through a dynamic and fruitful scientific environment.

On the national level

Our objective is to foster contacts and discussions inside the French community of young bioinformaticians. In particular we would like to:

• Create a structure for the bioinformatics in France dedicated to young people.
• Enable all young people to contact and discuss with colleagues, young as well as senior.
• Encourage young people to involve in the French bioinformatics community.
• Work in collaboration with the French Society for Bioinformatics.

On the international level

• Our aim is to make France more involved in the international community, more visible.
• Let as many people as possible know about ISCB and Student Council activities.
• Get more French people member of the ISCB and the Student Council.
• Encourage young people to involve in the international community of bioinformatics.
