RSG Europe

The Regional Student Group Europe of the International Society for Computational Biology Student Council, or RSG-Europe for short.

RSG-Europe wants to provide a framework for the organization of activities at future ECCBs. More generally, RSG-Europe can be a collaborator when organizing any event in Europe that is not limited to the operation area of a single RSG. It can direct the organization of other events that involve multiple European RSGs, for instance a "retreat" with students from all over Europe.

We would like to offer the opportunity for interested European students to be involved in the ISCB Student Council. There are plenty of people who are keen to help, but do not have enough volunteers to start their own RSG. Being involved in RSG-Europe will give them the opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the scientific student community.

Finally we wish to support groups of students from a single country that are gaining critical mass within RSG-Europe to spin off and create their own local RSG.
