Description of RSG Korea

Introduction
Regional Student Group – Korea (RSG-Korea) is an initiative of ISCB-Student Council to promote networking among young computational biologists in the Republic of Korea. RSG-Korea was established in the year 2007 as an outcome of ISMB Vienna, Austria.

Activities

1) Building a strong network among young researchers that aims at stimulating peer-to-peer aspect of learning in bioinformatics.
2) Developing a cyber environment for nurturing the ideas of young computational biologists.
3) Organizing domestic workshops and symposiums in various domains of bioinformatics.
4) International collaboration with other regional groups.
5) Publicizing RSG-Korea at domestic and international levels.
